Atlantic City Police say an investigation into credit card theft and fraud has resulted in the arrest of five men, including two from Atlantic City.

Police say that on June 13th, they were notified by security personnel at Borgata above the fraudulent use of credit cards on the property:

Detectives, with assistance from Borgata security, began an investigation which revealed that a credit card was opened under the name of a Mechanicsburg, PA man without his knowledge. The credit card was used by William Newhart to purchase 81 separate gift cards at Borgata totaling $11,900. Newhart then distributed those gift cards to four other men, who were all identified. The gift cards were then used at various retail stores and eateries throughout Borgata.

Police have arrested 5 men in the case:

* William Newhart, 41,Philadelphia, PA faces charges of  Identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy.

* Salvatore Tomazzolli, 42, Tobyhanna, PA, has been charged with Identity theft, theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy.

* Daniel Glick, 37, Atlantic City, faces charges of Identity theft, theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy.

* Edwin Rivera, 43, Atlantic City has been charged with Identity theft, theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy.

* Keith Mruzinski, 24, New Brunswick, NJ, is charged with Identity theft, theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy.
