Atlantic City Man Shot Thursday Night

A 28-year-old man from Atlantic City was shot and wounded Thursday night in the city.

Around 11:00 Thursday night, officers responded to the 600 block of Virginia Avenue for reports of shots being fired in the area. The gunfire was also picked up by the ShotSpotter system.

Officers found 28-year-old Jamil Miller of Atlantic City with non-life threatening gunshot wounds and transported to ARMC-City for treatment.

The investigation is being led by the ACPD's Violent Crimes Unit. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call (609) 347-5788.
