Atlantic City Mayor Leads Political Retaliation Against Councilma

Atlantic City, New Jersey City Council action will be taken on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 against a fellow member of City Council.

Make no mistake about it, the architect of this political scheme is Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small.

Atlantic City Councilman at Large George Tibbitt has been a vocal critic of Small for the serious criminal child abuse charges that Small faces … along with other areas whereby Tibbitt has publicly disagreed with certain public decisions made by Small.

We wrote back on May 25, 2024 that Small was leading a politically retaliatory effort to encourage City Council to public censure Tibbitt.

The censure is allegedly based upon recent public comments made by Tibbitt on the “Hurley in the Morning” program.

Tibbitt made a figurative comment during a live program several weeks ago.

Tibbitt said that Atlantic City public works employees should "spit on Marty Small" regarding the fact that “Small had a young boy criminally charged,” said Tibbitt.

Tibbitt was defending a young boy, who Marty Small had previously filed legal charges against. The Small charges against the young boy were specious and were quickly dismissed in court.

Tibbitt quickly corrected himself on-air and stated that he didn't mean for people to literally spit on Small ... that “I was very passionate about how this young Atlantic City boy was being treated by Marty Small," said Tibbitt.

Small seized on Tibbitt's on-air comments and encouraged his City Council allies to manufacture support at a City Council meeting to publicly criticize Tibbitt.

We can confirm that a formal public censure has been prepared against Tibbitt.

We have obtained a copy of the censure, which we have included below.

The censure of Tibbitt will be sponsored by Aaron “Sporty” Randolph, who is the president of the Atlantic City Council.

Small has lined-up the necessary 5 votes required to approve it.

It remains unknown if wild card City Councilman Bruce Weekes, Jr. will support a censure of Tibbitt.

Regardless, Small has 5 City Council members at his disposal, who are willing to vote for anything that he wants.

Marty and La'Quetta Small are facing serious criminal child abuse charges that were directly filed by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office on April 15, 2024 as follows:

MARTY SMALL is criminally charged with:

2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child.
3rd degree aggravated assault
3rd degree terroristic threats
disorderly persons simple assault.

LAQUETTA SMALL is criminally charged with:

2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child.
3 separate counts of disorderly persons simple assault.

An Atlantic City Council censure of Tibbitt would hold no weight whatsoever ... however, it would be in keeping with the past practices of Marty Small ... who is well known for retaliating against his perceived political enemies ... such as Tibbitt, John Devlin, Steve Young, Dredgie Wood and others.

The censure of George Tibbitt is unserious in nature and what it really is … is a political hit job.
