New Jersey Senator Vince Polistina knew exactly what he was doing when he fought hard for Will Reynolds to become Atlantic County Prosecutor.

To his credit, Governor Murphy demonstrated how fair he can be by changing his prior plans to nominate Kimberly Holmes, and, instead going along with Polistina’s recommendation.

Polistina wanted this to happen because he knew how important it was for Reynolds to take the reins as Atlantic County’s top law enforcement officer.

Governor Murphy held total control of the nomination and he could have picked anyone of his choice.

In the end, Reynolds got the nod.

It is apparent to all fair-minded observers that Atlantic County has hit the lottery with Reynolds, who hit the ground running hard and fast.

The Will Reynolds timeline is as follows:

  • Nominated by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy on May 16, 2022.
  • Became Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor on June 6, 2022.
  • Unanimously confirmed by the New Jersey Senate on August 8, 2022.
  • Sworn-in to office for a full 5-year term on August 9, 2022.

Reynolds has focused on:

  1. Catching the murderers.
  2. Taking guns off of the streets.
  3. Going after the drug dealers.
  4. Catching the pedophiles.
  5. Relentlessly pursuing improved lighting in Atlantic City. Lighting is a great disinfectant in terms of combating crime.

Reynolds also announced in the recent past that there will be a child advocacy center, located in Egg Harbor Township New Jersey.

Reynolds is convinced that they will have the proper people, equipment and technology Required to win the battle against pedophiles.

The Atlantic County child advocacy will be staffed with:

  • Law enforcement professionals
