Law enforcement officers in Camden County were busy this week, charging four teenagers with attempted murder in separate cases involving robberies and shootings.

Two Camden Teens Charged in Two Shootings

The first set of cases involves two 18-year-old Camden residents, Shamil Ceaser, Jr., and Abdul Tatum.

Prosecutors say on the night of October 2nd, officers from the Lindenwold Police Department responded to the 100 block of Blackwood-Clementon Road for a report of a person who had been shot.

At the scene, cops found a 23-year-old man who had been shot during an apparent robbery.

During that investigation, authorities say they identified Ceaser, Jr., and Tatum, as suspects.

Same Suspects Linked to Separate Camden Shooting

Meanwhile, the Camden County Police Department was investigating a separate shooting that occurred in Camden on September 10th.

In that case, an occupied home on the 1200 block of Dupont Street had been struck by gunfire; no injuries were reported. During that investigation, detectives identified the same men as suspects.

On October 9th, both Ceaser and Tatum were each charged with first-degree attempted murder, first-degree robbery, and related weapons offences in the Lindenwold shooting. Days later, they were also charged with second-degree aggravated assault, second-degree attempted aggravated assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and additional weapons offenses in the Camden shooting.

Ceaser and Tatum were taken into custody in Camden on October 14th by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, and they were remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

Two More Teens Charged in Pennsauken Shooting

The second set of arrests involved 18-year-old Jacquae Roberts of Camden and an unidentified 17-year-old from Pennsauken.

In this case, authorities said this past Monday at around 3 PM, Pennsauken police officers were called to the 7700 block of Stockton Avenue in reference to a shooting.

There, they found an 18-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was treated and released. Detectives later learned that he had been shot while being robbed.

During their investigation, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office and the Pennsauken Police Department say they identified Roberts and the juvenile as suspects in the shooting.
