Cinnaminson, NJ, Police Officer Charged With Records Tampering

A 17-year veteran of the Cinnaminson Police Department finds himself on the wrong side of the law for allegedly using law enforcement databases to find out information about a woman he met online.

According to Burlington County Acting Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw, 41-year-old Kevin Bohn pleaded guilty earlier this week to fourth-degree tampering with records and now must forfeit his position and is permanently barred from holding public employment in New Jersey.

Bradshaw says an investigation revealed Bohn was, "inappropriately utilizing law employment resources to gain personal information about a woman he met online."

The investigation revealed that Bohn utilized a restricted law enforcement database to run queries on a woman he met through the Only Fans website. He also looked up information concerning her relatives.

The investigation further revealed that Bohn tried to conceal his actions by generating incident numbers for the inquiries, then closing out the cases, according to Bradshaw.

The investigation was conducted by detectives from the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office's Special Investigations Unit.

Sentencing is scheduled for August 19th.

The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
