A group of motorcyclists were northbound on Route 206 in Bordentown Sunday afternoon when a deer ran into the roadway colliding with at least one of the motorcycles.

The Trenton Post reports that Bordentown Police responded to the accident just before 12:30pm in front of the Comfort Inn in Bordentown.

According to the report, the driver was a 45-year-old man from Forked River, although police have not released his identity to the public.

CPR was performed at the scene but he died at the hospital.

Two other people were reportedly injured and taken to the hospital.

The accident is still under investigation.
