Here's your chance to make sure New Jersey families enjoy a holiday meal. The Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) is hosting its annual food drive to benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. Here is how you can help.

Beginning Monday, December 5, and continuing through Friday, December 16, Atlantic County residents are encouraged to place canned goods at the curb on their recycling collection day - an easy way to help our neighbors in need.

Last year, residents donated 27,200 pounds of non-perishables. With support from the community, ACUA hopes to surpass that amount this year.

The FoodBank's most-needed items include pasta and canned tuna. Diapers and baby formula are also needed.

Atlantic County residents not serviced through the ACUA curbside recycling program can participate by bringing their donations to the ACUA at 6700 Delilah Road or to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey at 6735 Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township.
