Egg Harbor City Holding Several Ceremonies in Honor of Veterans Day
Veterans Day is coming up Wednesday, November 11. Egg Harbor City has planned several ceremonies to commemorate the day.

The ceremonies include a flag retirement, a recognition of Veterans Day, and a blood drive with the American Red Cross. Details regarding all three events can be found below, provided via a press release from Egg Harbor City.
Saturday, 11/7 at 1:00 p.m. Flag Retirement Ceremony, Egg Harbor City American Legion Post 158, 527 Philadelphia Avenue (The public is invited to bring old or damaged flags to the ceremony. If unable to attend, but have a flag you would like to properly retire, you may drop it off at the Mullica Township Town Hall, 4528 South White Horse Pike, or at the Egg Harbor City Elmer Rudolph American Legion Post 158 in the metal box at the front of the building before November 7th.)
Wednesday, 11/11 at 6:30 p.m. Veterans Day Ceremony Egg Harbor City American Legion 158, 527 Philadelphia Avenue (Taking place outdoors. Attendees will be expected to wear face masks and maintain social distancing, for the safety of all participants.)
Monday, 11/16 and Tuesday 11/17 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. American Red Cross TWO-DAY Blood Drive, Zion Lutheran Church (inside Miller Hall), located at 312 Philadelphia Avenue, Egg Harbor City.
*Appointments for the blood drive are preferred. Call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit redcrossblood.org (use sponsor code: zionlutheran). Save time on the day of at RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass. Blood, platelet, and plasma donations will all be tested for COVID-19 antibodies.
