Today, I want to shine the spotlight on three individuals who have unselfishly helped during the coronavirus pandemic.

They are Lynette and John Raphael, owners of L & J Electrical Contractors, and Al Hughes, a chef from the Tropicana Hotel and Casino.

Smith’s employment has been adversely impacted during the necessary but painful furloughs.

And the Raphael’s obviously have been hurt from a business standpoint by the pandemic.

Instead of complaining about the circumstances that are beyond anyone’s control, they have stepped-up big time to help others.

They put together their own operation featuring a 3D Printer. They have been fabricating an average of 100 full face shields per day.

This amazing team have directly helped doctors, nurses, first responders, and others.

They reached out to me recently and asked for my help in order to locate others who are in need. I immediately thought of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small.

Small has been sharply focused during the present crisis. Today, Mayor Small met Hughes and took receipt of 200 full face shields.

They are materially helping Atlantic City with public safety, public works, and their two coronavirus testing sites.

As I share this with you, this is what these three local heroes are doing today. This is directly from Lynette’s Facebook Page:

Today is DAYMAKER DAY- I will take time out of my day to deliver meals with our church Fresh Start Church to our healthcare workers on the front line. Followed by dropping off face shields that me, John Raphael, Albert Hughes have been making to the Covid-19 testing site in Atlantic City to help protect more of those that work so hard for us every day. How will you make someone’s day?

With all of the bad news that presently surrounds us, what a pleasure it is to share this wonderful example of unselfish people rising to challenge of our lifetime.
