Atlantic City Police say a drug transaction on Thursday led to the arrest of four men from the city and the recovery of various drugs.

According to a press release, ACPD detectives were conducting surveillance in the 1300 block of Atlantic Avenue when they observed 23-year-old Messiah Henry and 57-year-old Frank Perry, both from Atlantic City, engage in a drug transaction. After the deal, Henry walked away with 23-year-old Rahim Bobo and 22-year-old Qahshawn Reynolds, both also from Atlantic City.

Detectives stopped Perry who was found in possession of heroin. As detectives were attempting to arrest Perry, he began to resist arrest and was quickly taken into custody. Detectives then stopped the other three men in the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue. Henry was taken into custody for selling the heroin to Perry. He was found in possession of 50 bags of heroin. Bobo was arrested after being found in possession of five grams of cocaine. Reynolds was arrested after being in possession of prescription pills that were packaged for sale.

Henry was charged with ossession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession with intent to distribute CDS, sale of CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS within 500 feet of a public zone, and conspiracy.

Reynolds was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS within 500 feet of a public zone, and conspiracy.

Bobo was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS within 500 feet of a public zone, and conspiracy.

Perry was charged with possession of CDS, resisting arrest, and obstruction of justice.

Henry and Reynolds were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Bobo and Perry were released on a summons with a future court date.
