Iconic Atlantic City Italian Restaurant Returns With Job Interviews
The corner of Arctic and Georgia Avenues in Atlantic City, New Jersey is about to come “alive,” again in the very near future.
The return of the legendary Angeloni’s II Restaurant and Lounge is almost here.
You know it’s getting very close when job interviews for all positions are taking place.
On Thursday, April 18, 2024 and Friday, April 19, 2024, interviews will take place at Tony’s Baltimore Grill under the follow condition … straight from new Angeloni’s owners Ronald Nolan Aspell and his wife Julie:
You must: love Atlantic City, be welcoming & believe that old things are worth reviving!
What a great mission statement.
Angeloni’s II Restaurant and Lounge was previously owned and operated by Alan Angeloni for 42 hughiy successful years.
When we first broke the news that Alan would be retiring … he called it “the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”
Alan officially closed on May 23, 2023. Ronald and Julie will reopen just over one year later.
Alan built an incredible restaurant, featuring Italian American cuisine and a fiercely loyal following.
Ronald and Julie have already done great things with Tony’s Baltimore Grill.
They have successfully demonstrated the capacity to acquire iconic establishments and thread the needle by respecting the rich history … while putting their own touch on things at the same time.
It’s a winning formula.
We will be touring the new Angeloni's II Restaurant and Lounge Restaurant soon with Ronald and Julie.
We also look forward to sharing the new food and beverage menu with you at the appropriate time.
It appears that Ronald and Julie will be showing great respect to the past, present and future of this popular restaurant.
To honor the rich past of Angeloni’s II Restaurant and lounge, we purposely selected (as our featured photo for this article), a photo of the fabulous Braciole that Alan Angeloni was so very famous for.
Here it is:
Braciola (plural) or Braciole (singular).
In Italian-American cuisine, It is a thinly sliced meat that is rolled into what is known as a roulade. You will also hear about this wonderful category of food called involtini in Italian.
This was during Angeloni’s II Restaurant and Lounge rich past. It was long recognized as the very best in Atlantic City.
Soon, you will see what is coming in the next chapter.
