The Lakewood Police Street Crimes Unit pulled Bowen over on December 17, 2020, and found him in possession of more than one-half ounce of Cocaine which was packaged for resale.

Bowen was arrested and brought to the Ocean County Jail but was later released by the Court due to New Jersey's Bail Reform Law.

In the midst of being out of jail, Bowen found himself in trouble again on February 2, 2022, when Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force Detectives saw him driving a motor vehicle near Cedar Bridge Avenue in Lakewood.

After they pulled him over, Detectives found Bowen in possession of approximately 30 wax folds of Heroin.

Bowen was arrested and brought to the Ocean County Jail, where he has been since February 2, 2022.

Prosecutor Billhimer also announced on Monday that Ocean County Supervising Assistant Prosecutor Michael Abatemarco and Ocean County Assistant Prosecutor Stephen Burke are handling the matters on behalf of the State.
