
Man Wanted for Aggravated Assault Arrested in Atlantic City
An Atlantic City man who was wanted after allegedly stabbing a man several times who attempted to intervene in a dispute has been arrested.
The ACPD says 57-year-old Christopher Parker was arrested on Friday in the unit north block of Florida Avenue.
According to a press release, officers responded New York and Pacific Avenues for a report of a man stabbed with a large knife. Cops found a 53-year-old victim suffering from severe injuries and that person was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, with serious injuries. Cops say the victim was stabbed after intervening in a dispute between Parker and his ex-girlfriend. After stabbing the victim, Parker fled south on New York Avenue.
Parker has been charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
