Ocean Resort Casino Bringing Jamie Foxx to Opening Weekend Party
Owner Bruce Deifik has announced that actor and comedian Jamie Foxx is set to host the Ocean Resort Casino's opening weekend.
But before we get to June 28th when the casino is set to open, Atlantic City's Ocean Resort Casino will have to get their casino license. The hearing for that will take place Wednesday.
The Ocean Resort will present their case to the New Jersey Casino Control Commission Wednesday, and Thursday if necessary, with the hopes of attaining a casino license.
The Ocean Resort had a previous life as Revel, which shut down in September, 2014. Colorado developer Bruce Deifik bought the property and proceeded to gut it to change what the public didn't like about the former gaming hall. Some of the changes include a buffet that will start in the winter, a reconfigured casino floor, and smoking will be allowed.
Ocean Resort Casino and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City are set to open their doors June 28th.
