Pleasantville Man Facing Charges After Police Raid Home, Seize Drugs
A man from Pleasantville is facing a list of charges after his home was raided Thursday morning in Pleasantville.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says a 5-week-long investigation by several area law enforcement agencies concluded with a search warrant being executed at 215B Ridgewood Avenue in Pleasantville, where 33-year-old Shawn Jackson was arrested.
Jackson has been charged with maintaining a narcotics production facility, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of heroin and cocaine, and narcotics distribution within 500 feet of a public park.
According to authorities, over $11,000, a half-pound of marijuana, one ounce of cocaine, 300 bags of packaged heroin, one ounce of heroin, and various packaging and narcotics processing equipment were recovered by cops.
In a statement, Tyner said, "Drug dealers should be aware that if you manufacture, possess and sell drugs in Atlantic County the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit, with the cooperative efforts of our law enforcement partners will work diligently to find you, arrest and charge you to the fullest extent of the law."
Jackson was lodged in Atlantic County Justice Facility.
