Response to Attacks on Atlantic City, NJ Developer Bart Blatstein
This is my response to certain negative coverage about Atlantic City, New Jersey developer, Bart Blatstein.
There are only good people involved here. No bad actors.
I’m referring to Bart Blatstein and Parker Interior Plantscapes.
I have gotten to know Bart Blatstein very well during his developing days in Atlantic City, New Jersey and knew of him for many years for the great reputation that Blatstein has earned in Philadelphia.
In fact, a major Philadelphia print source called Blatstein, “The Man Who Saved Philadelphia.”
I have known Rich Parker and "Parker Plants“ since my Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino days in 1980.
Parker is the “Gold Standard” of their industry and that’s why Blatstein used them for his iconic ISLAND Waterpark in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The current critical coverage of Blatstein and the situation regarding payment of what Parker has stated is $ 1.81 million has been regularly in the news.
It’s obvious to those who understand how business works that both parties are trying to resolve the situation with a negotiated agreement.
That’s why a New Jersey Superior Court Judge has postponed a hearing on the matter three times … in hopes of reaching a settlement.
A hearing has been rescheduled to Friday. August 30, 2024, in case it is necessary.
Bart Blatstein has been a godsend for the Atlantic City community and marketplace.
Absolutely no one was investing in Atlantic City, when Blatstein came along and invested in:
- The Pier Shops at Caesars
- Saved Stockton University from potential ruination by purchasing The Showboat Atlantic City.
- Imagining The Lucky Snakes elaborate game room.
- Developing ISLAND Waterpark, the largest indoor waterpark in America.
I believe in Bart Blatstein, who is an honorable and decent, good man.
Blatstein loves Atlantic City and he has put his money … a whole lot if it … right where his mouth is.
I’m confident that Blatstein will resolve the Parker Interior Plantscapes matter.
Also, how about the critics give Blatstein some slack, as he just buried his 39-year-old son Ryan, who tragically died of natural causes only two weeks ago.
For all of the good that Bart Blatstein has done in Atlantic City, he certainly has earned the benefit of the doubt.
