The FBI, which put up the reward money, canvassed the Fox Meadows Apartments on Route 73 in Maple Shade where Sasikala Narra, 38, and Anish Narra were found stabbed to death by the respective husband and father on the evening of March 23. No arrests have been made in the case, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.

The father, who was not at the news conference, has moved to North Jersey.

Coffina discounted reports in India media that the crime was a hate crime.

“We have utilized every resource available to assist us in solving this crime. We are extremely grateful to the FBI for supplying the funds for this reward. Somebody out there has knowledge about these homicides. I urge anyone with information to contact us immediately," Coffina said.

Coffina would not disclose what other evidence or leads have been uncovered.

He hoped by distributing posters in English, Spanish as well as the language of many residents of Fox Meadows, Hindi and Telegu, leads would be more forthcoming. The family came to the United States from India.

There is some cultural distrust of law enforcement and Coffina said the Indian Cultural Center in Marlton has helped to improve communications. Coffina said the center also wants to see whoever was responsible brought to justice.

Agents will be at the apartment complex for the rest of the week.

Coffina said anyone with information about the incident should contact his office at 609-265-7113.
