Last week, a $10,000 reward was offered for information about who was responsible for the murder of 24-year-old Arty Barrera, who was shot to death in his Egg Harbor Township home on January 2nd.

Wednesday, a Crime Stoppers reward billboard was posted on Rt. 30 at New York Ave. leaving Atlantic City, a high-visibility location that attracts about 7,000 views from motorists daily, according to a Facebook post from the D'Amato Law Firm, which is representing the Barrera family.

Alexa D’Amato Barrera is the sister-in-law of Arty's parents, Art and Marlene Barrera.

Arty Barrera, a graduate of Egg Harbor Township High School, was pronounced dead in his home on the 100 block of Vermont Avenue after police got a 911 call around 11:20 PM on January 2 d, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement at the time. He had been shot several times.
