The Philadelphia Inquirer reports town officials in Pennsauken have been told the new Pennsauken Transit Center will open Oct. 13.

But a spokesman for NJ Transit says that date has not been finalized.

The $40 million station is being built with federal economic stimulus money.

The River Line runs between Camden and Trenton and the Atlantic City route goes from Atlantic City to Philadelphia.
