State troopers say they have a arrested a man from Camden who was wanted for committing nearly two dozen burglaries at convenience stores across South Jersey.

According to police, an investigation involving numerous law enforcement agencies determined 50-year-old Tony Petrozzelli was in North Philadelphia; that's where he was arrested last Wednesday.

Early last month, troopers saw a vehicle parked at the Heritage Dairy Store in Upper Pittsgrove Township and discovered that it was reported stolen and wanted in connection to other burglaries in the area. A press release states, "as troopers entered the parking lot, they observed Petrozzelli attempting to break into the store. When troopers approached Petrozzelli, he immediately entered the stolen vehicle and fled the scene."

Cops pursued Petrozzelli up Route 55, over the Walt Whitman Bridge, and into Philadelphia, at which point they called-off the chase.
