Video Shows Mays Landing Car Thieves in Action

Doorbell cam video from early Sunday morning in the Laureldale section of Mays Landing shows two people casing a property and attempting to steal a car.

The person who posted the video is hoping you will recognize someone and contact the police with information.

At one point in the video from 3:30 AM Sunday, July 11, the two thieves seem to have gotten into at least one of the cars and even started the car, before being scared off by something.

Several people from the area who responded to the post on Facebook also talk about having seen or heard of thieves trying to break into and steal their vehicles recently.

It's quite possible that these two suspects and responsible for multiple thefts or theft attempts in the Laureldale section of Mays Landing.
