Warped Tour, Live Nation Donates $20,000 to Boys & Girls Club Atlantic City
Today is the final day of Vans Warped Tour in Atlantic City. Tens of thousands of fans packed the Atlantic City beach with their fanny packs and bathing suits to see their favorite bands celebrate the 25th anniversary of the tour. This afternoon, the crowds were in for a special surprise as Vans Warped Tour and Live Nation Philadelphia gave back to the city that they called home for the weekend.
Geoff Gordon of Live Nation Philadelphia and Kevin Lyman of Vans Warped Tour took to the stage Sunday afternoon to thank the city. Atlantic City open its doors to the 25th anniversary tour and the tens of thousands of fans. The boardwalk was teamed with concert-goers and hotels, casinos, and bars provided a place for fans to go before and after the show.
As a way to say thank you, Live Nation Philadelphia and Vans Warped Tour presented the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City with a check to give back to the community. The two organizations donated $20,000 to the youth based organization.
