Additional Covid-19 Testing Locations Coming to South Jersey
New COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are once again on the rise in New Jersey. The pandemic continues to spread as we get ready to enter the holiday season and the Thanksgiving weekend.
South Jersey will now have additional testing locations for COVID-19 according to a report from the Press of Atlantic City.
Starting this Wednesday, November 25th, you'll be able to get tested at the Stockton University Residential Complex at 3701 Boardwalk from Noon to 7 PM. Testing will also be available at St. Michael's Church located at 10. N. Mississippi Ave from 9 AM to 4 PM on Friday and Saturday.
The Townsend Residential Life Center located at Stockton's Galloway Township campus will turn into a testing center for COVID on December 5th and 6th from Noon to 7 PM and December 7th and 9th from 9 AM to 5 PM at Lakeside Towne Hall.
The Atlantic City Convention Center will become another option for testing for coronavirus this Friday and Saturday, November 27th and 28th from 10 AM to 6 PM and again from November 30th through December 5th and December 7th through December 12th.
When it comes to Thanksgiving, Governor Murphy is stressing the importance of limiting Thanksgiving dinner to immediate family. Relative and friends traveling through airports could increase the chance of spreading the virus.
The recommendations for this year's Turkey Dinner according to the CDC are:
- Have a small dinner with only family that live in your household.
- Prepare traditional recipes for family and friends and deliver them without contact. Especially those who are at a higher risk for COVID-19.
- Have a virtual dinner and share recipes with family and friends.
- Watch endless football, parades and holiday movies from home.
