In a gaming town, if you are a betting “man,” the state of New Jersey appears to have a rock solid case to both remove from office and imprison Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has assembled a voluminous amount of devastating evidence against both Marty and La’Quetta Small.

Upon obtaining indictments against the mayor and the current superintendent of the Atlantic City Public Schools … the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office released the following public comments on September 17, 2024:

Marty Small, Sr., 50, and his wife, La Quetta Small, 47, of Atlantic City, NJ were both indicted for second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Marty Small, Sr. was also indicted for third-degree Terroristic Threats, and third-degree Aggravated Assault. It is alleged that during the months of December 2023 and January 2024, the defendants physically and emotionally abused their 15/16-year-old-daughter on multiple occasions. During one incident, on January 13, 2024, Marty Small, Sr. is alleged to have hit his daughter multiple times in the head with a broom causing her to lose consciousness, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

Marty Small was subsequently indicted a second time on witness tampering charges.

Later today, New Jersey Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury is expected to announce his ruling on a (Marty Small)) attorney Ed Jacobs motion to quash subpoenas and suppress certain electronic evidence obtained against Marty and La’Quetta Small.

Defendant Constance Days-Chapman unsuccessfully attempted the same maneuver through her attorney, Lee Vartan.

It failed, as Judge DeLury rejected the motions to quash the subpoenas and suppress evidence.

Conventional wisdom would leave one to believe that Judge DeLury will rule the same way today against Marty and La’Quetta Small.

Vartan is appealing Judge DeLury’s decision. Ed Jacobs will do the same if they lose today.

Below, is a copy of Judge DeLury’s Order, whereby he rejected Vartan’s earlier motion.

The “deck” appears to be stacked against Marty and La’Quetta Small … however, Marty Small was a decided underdog in both of his previous voter fraud criminal trials … and, he wound up winning both of them.

One of Marty Small’s previous voter fraud criminal trials last more than 4 months.

The state of New Jersey did a very poor job in the previous two Marty Small criminal trials. Atlantic County Prosecutor Will Reynolds is very competent. He will not make the same mistakes.

The state of New Jersey will be prepared this time.
