Police found a man and woman dead inside their home in Camden County on Monday.

Audubon police were reportedly asked to perform a welfare check on Jane and Kevin Venable, who had not been heard from by family and friends since Saturday (January 9th).

Upon entering the Venable's house on Oakland Avenue (near W. Graisbury Ave.) around 1 p.m. on Monday, police found the couple dead. 64-year-old Jane Venable's injuries were consistent with being shot, as were 63-year-old Kevin Venable's, according to Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Authorities are yet to say whether the deaths may have been an act of murder-suicide, but an investigation is ongoing.
