Downbeach Deli in Margate, NJ, addresses rumors about closing

A longtime Margate deli wants you to know they are not closing.

The Downbeach Deli, which is located at 8 South Essex Avenue in Margate, posted on its social media page that rumors of their closing in September are not true.

If you are a fan of the deli or haven't been there, it's not going anywhere.

There was a rumor back in April of 2022 that the business was for sale, but it was addressed by the deli that it was the building, not the deli that was for sale.

Tacocat, which was in the same building, recently closed its doors, but its former neighbors aren't going anywhere.
