Philadelphia Woman Arrested for Stabbing in Atlantic City

A 20-year-old woman from Philadelphia is facing charges after police say she stabbed a woman in Atlantic City Monday afternoon.

The Atlantic City Police Department says two of its officers were stopped at Tennessee and Atlantic Avenues by a woman who had just been stabbed around 3:30 Monday afternoon. The unidentified female was taken to ARMC-City for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect, 20-year-old Aaisha N. Muhammad of Philadelphia, was located nearby and arrested.

Muhammad was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility and is facing aggravated assault and weapons charges.
