5 Pedestrians Struck in Clementon — Three are Children

CLEMENTON — Five people were struck by a car outside a South Jersey park on Monday night.

6 ABC Action News reported the incident took place around 9 p.m. on East Atlantic Ave at Terrace Avenue across from Clementon Park, a wooded residential area. Police said the driver of the car remained on scene.

At least three of those hit were children, according to CBS Philly.

The conditions of those involved in the incident is not known.

A Clementon Police dispatcher told New Jersey 101.5  additional details on the incident would be released on Tuesday morning.
