
Suspect Identified in Weekend Stabbing at Hamilton Mall
Following an arrest warrant being issued, Hamilton Township Police have taken a suspect involved in an assault at Hamilton Mall on Saturday into custody.
Based on their investigation and tips from the public, the suspect was identified as 27-year-old Haniff Cooper of Atlantic City. A warrant was issued charging Cooper with with 3rd degree Aggravated Assault, 3rd degree Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, 4th degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and 4th degree Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.
According to police, Cooper turned himself into police. Bail was set at $150,000 full cash. Cooper has been transferred to the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending court.
