Buena Man Shot in the Face in Vineland Shooting, Police Need Tips
Vineland Police are asking for your help with leads on two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting at a city residence Saturday where two men were shot, leaving one of them in critical condition after being hit in the face.
The shooting happened at about 11:15pm Saturday at a Vineland home on the 1800 block of Ramblewood Drive. Both men were in the garage area of the home, just off East Oak Road, when they were struck by gunfire, police told The Daily Journal.
A 50-year-old man who lives in the home was shot in the thigh. He was treated and released from Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
A 20-year-old Buena Vista man who was visiting the home was shot in his face and groin, police said. He remained in the hospital in critical but stable condition on Monday.
Detectives do not think that this was a home invasion. They are searching for two male suspects. A K-9 team tracked the area. It is possible the suspects may have gotten into a vehicle.
