Egg Harbor Township Police are investigating an armed home invasion that occurred Tuesday night on Princeton Avenue.

According to a press release, EHT Police say the victims were reportedly approached outside of their home by two armed suspects wearing masks. The victims were ordered into the garage; their hands were duct taped by the suspects and items were subsequently stolen from the residence.

Police describe the suspects as two thin black males, one wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a “Halloween hockey mask,” the other wearing a dark colored mask covering half of his face. Police recovered two handguns and other evidence left behind by the suspects.

Investigators feel that this is an isolated incident that does not present an increased risk to other residents living in the area.
