A Mays Landing man has apologized for urinating on the memorial of a local child at a Mays Landing Park.

The father of Christian Clopp has accepted the apology.

The apology was aired on CBS3 in Philadelphia:

The story goes back to a video that went viral Sunday, showing Bryan Bellace urinating on the memorial, while his friend videotaped the incident.

Charges were quickly filed and Bellace and Daniel Flippen were both charged by police.

A wonderful outpouring of community followed, with several people showing up at the memorial Sunday to clean the marker and stone.

Now, a "Bubble Brigade" has been planned for Thursday evening at Underhill Park in Mays Landing to remember Christian Clopp:

Additionally, a fundraiser has already begun to raise money "to beautify and expand this park for the enjoyment of families for years to come."
