New Jersey Must Take Action Against Atlantic City Mayor & Wife Now

I have both respect and fondness for New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy. He’s a good man … however, the state of New Jersey has been derelict regarding the conduct of Marty and La’Quetta Small.

Marty Small is the Mayor of Atlantic City, New Jersey. His wife, La’Quetta Small is the Atlantic City Superintendent of Public Schools.

Marty Small likes to publicly brag that he and his wife control more than $ 500,000,000 per-year in terms of local and school purpose taxes.

I fully expect the local antics of Marty and La’Quetta Small … they’re a public disaster, with their overall poor work performance record … and they’re the cause of constant public drama.

What I find disappointing is the fact that the state of New Jersey has done absolutely nothing to address the many problems caused by Marty and La’Quetta Small.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has criminally charged Marty and La’Quetta Small with serious child abuse offenses.

MARTY SMALL is criminally charged with:

• 2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child.
• 3rd degree aggravated assault
• 3rd degree terroristic threats
• disorderly persons simple assault.

LA'QUETTA SMALL is criminally charged with:

• 2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child.
• 3 separate counts of disorderly persons simple assault.

In the case of La’Quetta Small, the state of New Jersey has allowed her to continue in her public position.

I can’t find another example in America … whereby a public schools superintendent stands criminally charged with child abuse and is allowed to continue in his/her position.

How the state of New Jersey has allowed this to continue is both disgraceful and shocking.

La’Quetta Small has an unrelated court date on July 15, 2024, for allegedly parking in a handicapped parking space at the Home Depot in Absecon, New Jersey.

Marty Small was busted the very next day for illegally parking out front of Caesars Hotel and Casino.

Marty Small’s public comment about illegally parking was “Ima park where I want.”

Marty Small is out of control. The state of New Jersey must take action now.

New York City casinos are coming. The current Atlantic City Hotel casino room occupancy rate is down.

These are very serious times.

A Mayor, nicknamed “Party Marty” is not the solution.

He is the problem.

It is unacceptable for the state of New Jersey to sit back and do nothing.
