This Monday, March 23, 2020 on WPG Talk Radio’s “Hurley in the Morning” from 7:35 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., we will be presenting two great superintendents of public schools.

Bob Garguilo and Glenn Robbins are two of the finest and most creative Superintendents in the state of New Jersey.

Bob and Glenn created actual “Hallways of Learning,” and much more while they were at the Northfield Public Schools District.

Yes, they actually utilized the hallway spaces of the school in such dynamic and creative ways.

Their outstanding work caught the eye of major Universities, who loved their unique and fresh teaching methods, along with their use of 3D printers and other technologies in the day-to-day educational delivery systems at the elementary schools level.

Bob and Glenn will share important information for parents and grandparents regarding your children and the various challenges of being educated (remotely) from home for the foreseeable future.

This is a time of great unknown. Bob and Glenn’s participation this Monday will be very helpful for our communities and families. I’m really excited about it.

It’s been incredible to watch. Local districts have had to redesign what “schools” look like. They had just days to solve major logistical problems.

Educators have been amazing and quite unsung during the Coronavirus crisis.

They have kept important learning going. They have fed children. All without skipping a beat.

This interview with Bob and Glenn will be so very important for helping families to manage the remote learning that is currently taking place until further notice.

NOTE: President Donald Trump confirmed yesterday they states can opt out of the standard testing protocols.

This can be helpful, as teachers will be able to provide basic instruction and not have to worry about teaching to standardized testing modalities.

In some ways, this could be a positive throwback to basic, high quality instruction and learning.

Tell your friends and neighbors about this Monday’s education focus from 7:35 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
