Woman Charged with Stabbing Man to Death in Absecon Thursday Night

A 34-year-old man is dead and a local woman has been charged with his murder.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says 34-year-old Kenneth Fenwick of Atlantic City died Thursday night after being stabbed.

Arrested and charged with his murder is Khaleeia Bass, 34, of Atlantic City.

Tyner says Absecon Police received a 911 call at 8:25 PM about a man being stabbed at 513 Clayton Avenue. When they arrived they found Fenwick, who was rushed to the hospital, where he died of his injuries.

According to Tyner, it's believed Fenwick and Bass were in a domestic relationship.

Bass has been processed on the charges and is due in court on Wednesday. She was charged with first degree murder and third degree possession of a knife for an unlawful purpose.

The incident remains under investigation.
