Egg Harbor Township Police Plan DWI Checkpoint Friday Night

Drinking and driving is never smart, but it would be an especially bad idea Friday night in South Jersey.

Egg Harbor Township police and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's office will be holding a DWI checkpoint Friday, September 7th, from 9PM to 3AM.

According to an announcement about the checkpoint posted on The Press of Atlantic City, the goal is to raise awareness about driving while intoxicated.

Police aren't saying the exact location of the checkpoint, but previous checkpoints have been held on the Black Horse Pike. You shouldn't have any legal problems if you just don't drink and drive.
