While no one in South Jersey won $731 million Wednesday night by playing Powerball, four people did win anywhere from $50,000 to $1 million in our area.

Officials with the New Jersey Lottery say three tickets sold in the Garden State matched all five of the five white balls, making each worth $1 million. One ticket was sold in Gloucester County at Wawa on Mantua Park in Woodbury Heights, another in Camden County at 7-Eleven on North Haddon. Ave in Haddonfield. The third in Middlesex County at an Exxon station in Monmouth Junction.

Additionally, six Powerball tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for $50,000. Those winning tickets were sold at ShopRite in Somers Point and at Wawa on the White Horse Pike in Berlin. The other four were sold in Lanoka Harbor in Ocean County; Manalapan, Monmouth County; Fairlawn in Bergen County; and Monroe Township in Middlesex County.

The winning numbers for Wednesday night's drawing were 40, 53, 60, 68, and 69. The Red Power Ball number was 22. The Multiplier number was 03.

Just yesterday, it was announced that a winning $1 million Mega Millions ticket was sold at 7-Eleven on Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City.

That winning ticket continued our region's lottery luck. Just before Christmas, a winning Powerball ticket worth over $529,000 was sold at ShopRite in Hammonton. On December 26th, a $50,000 Jersey Cash 5 ticket was sold at ShopRite in West Berlin. On December 30th, a winning lottery ticket worth over $270,000 was sold at ShopRite in Rio Grande. Earlier this month, someone won $10,000 playing Mega Millions at a store in Woodbury Heights and a winning $1 million Mega Millions ticket was sold in Camden County.
